Responsive Math Teaching: Experience PD

Responsive Math Teaching (RMT) is high quality mathematics instruction in which teachers respond both to student thinking and to important mathematical ideas in order to engage all students in high cognitive demand tasks and deep and meaningful learning. Experience professional development involves participating in a community of learners to experience RMT as a learner, reflecting on that experience in order to understand how to teach responsively, and beginning to make adjustments to math instruction.
